Profile Summary

My research has involved the use of virus surface templated self-assembly and synthesized metal nanoparticles to produce three-dimensional, nanoscale structures with novel optical and electronic properties (metamaterials). Having worked at the interface of biomaterial and inorganic chemistry I believe some of the most powerful nanotechnology developments will emerge from the interface where scientific disciplines overlap. My passion lies in aiding the commercialization of innovative research, especially in the field of nanotechnology.
