Profile Summary

I am an experienced scientist and consultant specializing in lipid-based drug delivery systems, with a focus on lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), liposomes, and other advanced delivery platforms. My expertise spans formulation development, biomarker discovery, in vitro and in vivo validation, process development, and manufacturing. I have contributed to advancing preclinical drug delivery technologies for cancer, vaccines, gene editing, diabetes, and obesity. I have developed the scientific foundation for platform technologies at two companies, supporting the delivery of small molecule and nucleic acid therapeutics. In addition, I have led efforts in targeting extrahepatic tissues, implementing high-throughput assays (AI/ML), and managing both formulation and operational workflows. Alongside my technical work, I have been deeply involved in business development and strategic planning as a private consultant, collaborating with small start-ups to build scalable technologies, develop commercial strategies, and execute technical validations. I completed my postdoctoral research at Vanderbilt University and hold a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of British Columbia. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biopharmaceutical Sciences, with a specialization in medicinal chemistry, from the University of Ottawa.
