I have completed my bachelor's degree at the Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University in “Medical physics” department with a GPA of 4.86. By this moment, I have just finished the first year of the master’s program at this University in the Institute of Biomedical Systems and Biotechnology. I studied technical courses including physics, further math, and computer science and life science courses including biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology. Besides, I have a work experience of two years and six months as a research assistant at the Center "Nanobiotechnologies", St. Petersburg, Russia. Thus, I have obtained several skills such as basic molecular biology and microbiology methods, purification of proteins, and advanced single-molecule methods. My main research interests are single molecule methods and their applications. I have been interested in studying transcription barriers for a long time. I have some experience in studying bacterial transcription.
