Profile Summary

I am currently working as an international postdoctoral researcher at UCL University, London UK. Both my postdoc and PhD were project funded by grants I applied too independently, and wrote / design the project. My research project concerns the effect of diabetes on the brain vasculature, and I have done my PhD on the physiology and pathology of the brain blood flow and metabolism. I obtained my PhD from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark, and I hold a master degree on Neuroscience and Neuropsycopharmacology from the University of Bordeaux II, France. I am trained in conducting cross-functional literature search and in communicating results orally and in written report. I am also trained in communicating my own research, as I have presented my work in several international conferences and got a price for best oral presentation in the COSBID Berlin meeting 2017. I have designed studies and writing experimental protocols, both for myself and my students, and I am used to review scientific work for journals. I have experience with project management and line management within the organisation I worked at.
