マリアム・アトイェビマラウイ2015年洪水データ可視化プロジェクト

マラウイ2015年の洪水。その影響をデータで可視化 

このプロジェクトは主に、マラウイで最も被害の大きかった南部マラウイの洪水の影響を調べるために実施されました。洪水の原因は、2015年1月から3月にかけての豪雨でした。  

I presented the project in a visualization format because visuals have a lot of impact on people  while storytelling, this was achieved using パイソン and the QGIS software packages.  

ユニセフによると、マラウイでは、2015年の洪水により、約276人が死亡または行方不明となり、645人が負傷し、23万人が避難しています。  

洪水は十分な予防措置を講じれば防ぐことのできる災害であるだけに、悲しい現実です。私のプロジェクトの支援により、関連する政府機関や非政府機関が将来の発生を防ぐための適切な計画を立てることができることを願っています。

ATOYEBI, Temitope Mariam
Temitope Mariam Atoyebi is a フリーランスのデータサイエンティスト. She has worked for clients across various industries which include health, finance, environmental, agricultural and transport. Mariam worked formerly in the Oil and Gas Industry as a petrotechnical expert but her current passion is  the use of データサイエンス and its related fields to solve societal challenges which is reflected in the projects she works on. She holds a BSc. degree in Petroleum Engineering and she is about to complete her MSc. degree in Project Management.
