Profile Summary

I have a dual-PhD from the Australian Catholic University and the Université d'Avignon, awarded under a Cotutelle. This research program resulted in eight journal publications and two book chapters and was marked by a National Health and Medical Research Council of Australia Dora Lush Biomedical Research Postgraduate Scholarship, an Endeavour Research Fellowship and a 12-month Visiting Postgraduate Research Studentship within the lab of Professor Aristidis Veves at Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Completing 12 months of research in each of Australia, the United States and France, my PhD thesis was submitted within the 3-year (FTE) limit and it was passed without requirement for amendment. In recognition of these achievements, I was recently awarded the Vice-Chancellor's Award for Research Excellence in Doctoral Training at the Australian Catholic University. Additionally, I gained a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship within the Department of Medicine at the University of Melbourne for 2018. In 2019, I established my own business, proofyourscience.com, which provides medical writing, editing and proofreading services. My services can correct the poor grammar, punctuation and/or language that can undermine your work; fundamental errors that strip sentences, paragraphs or entire documents of there intended meaning and potentially allow key messages to be misinterpreted and overlooked entirely.
